We spent the day together in Boston, moving through the city without trying to make every moment into a photograph. Instead, I let the afternoon unfold naturally—the conversations between frames, the laughter that came without prompting, and the small gestures that said more than any pose could.
Boston has a certain softness to it, especially when you slow down enough to notice. The familiar streets and old architecture became part of the photographs, but never the focus. What mattered was the way Maddy and Stefano seemed to find their own space within the city.
I wanted these images to feel the same way the afternoon did: warm, intimate, and unhurried. Less like a record of where they were, and more like a memory of what it felt like to be there together.
