About Me
I’m Zian, a New York City–based photographer working across portraits, editorial and fashion photography. I’ve worked with models from Wilhelmina, State, Elite, Zombie, W and many others.
Whether you’re a new face, working on your submissions to agencies or updating your book, a focused session built around your look, expression and range will help you get there.
If you’re new to the industry and not sure how to pose, what to do with your head, arms or your shoulders: don’t worry, you don’t need to arrive with a repertoire of poses. We’ll work through the session together, with direction that shows your your best side that maximizes your chances of being signed to your dream agency.
My Process

Tell me whether you’re preparing an agency submission, building your first portfolio or updating your book. Share your agency’s current requirements and visual references. We’ll plan three looks and choose a studio or outdoor location before the shoot.

We’ll spend 1–2 hours working through your three looks, in the studio or outdoors. I’ll guide posture, movement and expression, and photograph the angles needed for your agreed submission brief alongside portfolio portraits.

You’ll receive 10+ edited photographs within 2 weeks of your session. For agency submissions, we’ll follow the editing and file requirements shared before the shoot. Your final photographs should represent your current appearance clearly.

The $400 package includes a 1–2 hour session in the studio or outdoors, 3 looks and 10+ edited photographs, delivered within 2 weeks of the session. We’ll choose the location around your portfolio goals and agency submission brief.

A model test explores your range through styling, expression, movement and light. Digitals are straightforward photographs of your current appearance, usually with simple clothing, natural-looking light and minimal styling. Agencies set their own requirements, so send the current brief before we shoot.

Start with a plain fitted tank or T-shirt and simple jeans or trousers. Add a second look that shows a different silhouette and a third that suits the work you want to book. For agency digitals, follow that agency’s dress and makeup instructions. Check out the outfit guide here before packing.

No. This session works for new faces as well as models updating their book. I’ll guide your posture, movement and expression throughout the shoot. If you have representation, share your agent’s brief so we can build the session around it.

Your 10+ edited photographs will be delivered within 2 weeks of your session. If you have an agency deadline, mention it when you inquire so we can confirm that the timing works before you book.
